A First!

A warm “Thank You” to Fae of Fae’s Twist and Tango for nominating my blog for my very first award. I’ve not been blogging long, so I’m absolutely astonished and delighted that I’ve even been picked.

Fae is a lovely lady with a multicultural background– having grown up with Persian parents, in Japan. She posts delicious recipes along with stories from her life, which make really interesting reading.

And here is the award!

9. Cooking Tackle: Ira lives in beautiful Bali and cooks the most visually stunning food. Unfortunately as a vegetarian I can’t try most of her recipes. But they are a treat for the eyes!

10. Today’s Inspiration: I’m not sure how or when I found this enchanting blog featuring illustrators for books and magazines. But if you love water colours and read Women’s Weekly or Reader’s Digest Condensed Books in the 80s, you’ll love this!
