My Wednesdays for the last two months have been fun. There have been stories from all over Asia, an insight into different cultures and the values they cherish and a wonderful sense of camaraderie and sharing.
Yesterday was our last day of the current Study Group on Creation Myths. We decided to celebrate our friendship with a potluck lunch after the two presentations.
On the ferry back to Singapore on Sunday, I had a brainwave- that I’d make a cake that epitomized ‘Creation Myth’….
Here it is. A red velvet cake with delicious cream cheese frosting. Adam and Eve stand in the Garden of Eden with the serpent underfoot!
And the presentations — on Science and Mythology and Japanese Creation Myths– were a fitting end to an illuminating subject.
Awesome!
