One Year and Still Blogging!

It’s been a year folks! *rubbing eyes in disbelief*

Yes, I’ve been rambling on for a year now and I actually have readers who aren’t just family and friends. Friends and family who’ve been cajoled, persuaded, bribed, threatened ๐Ÿ™‚

Sometimes when I look at my statistics (stopped studying it 30 years back in college, but its so intriguing now!) I find people visiting from Fiji and Bulgaria, Armenia and Slovakia, Venezuela and Zambia. It really astonishes me! Guys, if you ever revisit, please leave me a comment, telling me about yourselves! About your countries, about your lives. I’d love to know.

And when I look at the search terms that brought them here- the maximum hits are ‘Pigs in the mud’!

A heartfelt “Thank you” to all of you, who’ve come a visiting. Thanks to all of you who’ve left me a comment or two. For following my adventures with Cake, for allowing me to share.

When I started decorating cakes a year and a half back, I found a brilliant set of teachers in MyCakeSchool. Melissa and BeBe.

I also found Jacquee who gifted me a year’s subscription to MyCakeSchool. Jacquee, who is immensely talented and has a beautiful blog and is generous to a fault.

I’d like to pass on the baton and gift a membership to all you wonderful readers. My giveaway is open until the 12th of October 2013. Please leave me a comment telling me why you love baking.

One winner will be chosen from amongst all of you.

And a special gift for all of you in Singapore! Leave a comment on my ‘Piggies revisited‘ and get to take away a box of 6 yummy cupcakes topped with chocolate ganache and a cute fondant pig. Again, the giveaway ends on the 12th of October. Three winners will be chosen, so please leave an email address I can contact you on.

Thank you for accompanying me on this journey!
