Move over George Clooney. There’s a new man in my life!

Lischetti. Carlos Lischetti.

He is super talented and a sugar artist to boot. And has a super talented twin brother who designs the most beautiful cakes that Carlos crafts into reality.

Here is what I made for the lovely Miss Molly who turned 3 last week. She loves ballet and all things pink and frilly. A girl after my own heart!

I’d been waiting to make the enchanting ballerina from Carlos’s book ‘Animations in Sugarcraft’, and was thrilled to get an opportunity.

This was a delicious chocolate cake with cream cheese filling, covered in ganache and then in pink fondant.

I loved making this cake for the sweetest little ballerina. May your year ahead be wonderful!

  2. Radhika, This ballerina looks perfect! I love her facial expression and the hair shinion. Fae.

  3. The whole cake looks incredible. And I had to read your post about five times just to be sure that it wasn’t a plastic doll! Amazing, well done!

    • Thank you so very much! I’ve learned a lot since my initial forays into decorating. And I love trying things out. And yes, my home had limbs drying all over, as its so very humid here! I was petrified of an arm or leg breaking!
